Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort
Hakuba Happo-One Winter Resort This ski resort is the largest single ski resort in Japan, and was the location of the 1998 Nagano Olympics. The resort was the venue for high-speed events and alpine skiing. In January 2019, an area known as Omusubi officially opened to allow skiing although the area has been marked as a double black. Opening of the new powder area has created excitement among visitors to Hakuba’s Happo-One Resort. Tours are held for a limited period of time to convey the attraction of snowboarding while providing details regarding terrain conditions such as drop-offs and contours.
