Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort
Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort received the world's ski tourism industry's most prestigious award,
World Ski Awards 2018, and was nominated for the World's Best Ski Resort Company 2018 category from among many ski resort operators.
The resort was selected as one of the best three ski resorts. The ski resort is managed by Prince Hotel Co., Ltd., and is one of the most popular
ski resorts in Japan where you can enjoy slopes of all sizes, lengths, and snow quality whether you visit with your family, a small group, or alone.
At an altitude of 1,124 meters, the Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort is one of the highest ski resorts in Japan, and features one of Japan's longest slopes
with a maximum distance of 8,500 meters.
Because a fossil of the Elephas namadicus is excavated, Lake Nojiri of the tourist attraction in the outskirts is famous, and a fossil continues being
discovered now, and an archeology fan and many tourists visit Lake Nojiri.
The fresh-water smelt fishing that is a pastime that gives poetic charm of winter Lake Nojiri goes until April.
